Dissolving the House of Peoples

The Presidency has the power to dissolve the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.²⁸⁰⁵ The Constitution does not clearly require this decision to be taken by consensus. However, the rules of procedure of the Presidency have interpreted the Constitution to require the Presidency to “endeavour to adopt” such a decision by consensus. If consensus is not reached, the rules allow the decision to be taken by two members of the Presidency.²⁸⁰⁶
